The Comedy Cottage is a self catering cottage for couples. We visited at the end of May 2018.
It is close to the main road (no pun intended) and well located with lots to see and do.... or not ☺
It was quite easy to find, with google maps. In fact, google maps helped us to locate the discrete, little road leading to the cottage itself on our first attempt.
There are two levels to the cottage.
Upstairs you'll find a spacious loft area; as this a converted barn watch out - I bumped my head several times 😁There's a double bedroom, with ensuite bathroom and a living room area replete with sofa, lamps, tv/dvd player and board games.
Downstairs is the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen (I love cooking) has to be one of the best equipped I've yet found in a cottage, there was even a cake tin!
Better still, a lovely surprise greeted us on arrival, the owner had provided some thoughtful snacks which we really appreciated, given the long drive down.
Also, the tennis court was fabulous quality, and a lovely feature.
All things considered this was a nice cottage, maybe not luxurious, but certainly comfortable - we had no complaints.
